2023 Salem Yule Marketplace

Salem Yule Marketplace

Gift something different this year! On December 16, the beautiful and historic Salem Old Town Hall will be transformed into a Yule market! With two floors of goth and goth-friendly artisans, makers, vintage curators, booksellers, and metaphysical and gaming shops, it’s a great way to find unusual gifts for your favorite unusual people!

Doors open at 9 a.m., and the show runs until 5 p.m.! There will be a holiday selfie booth with yuletide props available on the second floor stage, with Fireside Ghost Stories by Ed Gannon from Chambers of Terror from 10-11, and photo opportunities with The Real Krampus starting at 2!

If you’re planning a day of holiday shopping, you’ll be happy to know that the Old Town Hall is just a short walk from the MBTA station, in the heart of downtown Salem. Essex St. is around the corner, as well as all the tourist spots Salem has to offer. With many excellent eateries, unique shops, and attractions in the area, who says holiday shopping has to be a chore?

There will also be a gift wrapping table to benefit Witch City Action, a local organization focused on directly helping unhoused people, and others who are at severe risk of becoming unhoused. We will also be taking donations of cash and useful items* for them.

The full vendor list and gift guide will be up shortly on this site, but there will also be regular posts on our @ghost.ship.market accounts on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok highlighting everything that you can find at the market!

*Witch City Action requests donations of: cash for laundry, hot hands and other heat packs, clean blankets, clean mittens and hats, clean socks, boots in good condition, wrapped period products, and cleaning wipes.
