SHRINEHARPY x PEPOHKI are two artists and creatures originally from New York City and currently based in Salem, MA . Their collaborative work is inspired by folkloric beasts, whimsical nature, and medieval magic.
HARPIES is a 2-color Risograph zine created by SHRINEHARPY featuring 8 illustrations on pink paper. A Risograph is a type of duplicator that combines the essence of silkscreen printing with the accessibility of a modern office printer. Each color is printed separately, with vibrant soy-based ink, and layered to create unique art prints.
PEPOHKI carefully combs New England beaches to find the perfect seashells to prime and prepare for delicate ink drawings inspired by nature and folklore.
